911 - It is quicker, if you hang up!

So, I have a new-ish Smart Watch. For some reason, I cannot get the Compass to just go away. I know exactly where I am, and I know where I'm going too. I am 99% certain that when I wish to return home, I will know how to get there. My efforts to close the Compass app, somehow made my watch decide it was an Emergency and should call 911. I told it no, cancel, do not call 911. It did NOT listen. So, I hung up that call. Almost instantaneously, I got a call back from 911. So much quicker than actually calling 911 and staying on the line/hold waiting for someone to take the call!

NOTE TO SELF: If you need 911, call and hang up!

I'll have to try that if we ever need 911. There are problems with the 911 system where we live with people saying nobody ever answers or it takes a long time to get an answer. The excuse is they can't hire enough qualified people since the pandemic.
