I noticed barley in a soup recipe. (JulieV had a soup with beans, sausage, barley, etc.)
Now, what kind of barley is appropriate for soup? I only find quick-cooking barley in my supermarket (unlike rice that I see minute rice, brown rice, long grain rice, converted rice.....)
