This weekend was mine and my step daughters birthday. Mine Saturday hers Sunday. (no ages) We decided to do something a little special. I pulled out a 12lb turkey I had in the freezer since thanksgiving I decided to smoke roast it in the cypress smoker. I hung it from the top and cooked it directly over the coals at 280 for 4 1/2 hrs. I used pecan for smoke and seasoned with s/p and poultry seasoning. My wife make her famous cornbread dressing.giblet gravy, mustard greens and brocolli and rice.Oh yea we had some whole kernel corn.To quote JB"fresh out a da can boy". It was a great day.How about them kids. Enjoy the pics.
