Forgive me for just jumping straight in. This is my first post on these forums. But I've just bought a bread machine from a garage sale, and I need your help and advice about it. I've never used a bread machine before.

It's a Breville Bakers Oven, model BB-200, manufactured around 1988. I'm in Australia, so it's an Australian model. I have no instruction manual for it, so I need that, and also a basic recipe for either a 500g (1lb) or a 750g (1 1/2lb) loaf.

Can anyone please help?

Good spot BubbaGourmet. I'm originally from OZ and have used that type of breadmaker, they are very good. But they do vibrate a lot, be very careful where you put it, coz it will walk during the kneading cycle. My friends walked right off her kitchen table, it was very funny! It kept on going, I was very surprised it didn't break!

I find you can use any basic breadmaker recipe in any breadmaker, it doesn't need to be brand specific. I originally had a Sanyo, and my friend with the Breville and I used to exchange recipes all the time.
