My plan for tonight is Italian sausage, peppers, and onions. I'll let you know what actually happens. :rolleyes:


I stuck to the plan, but added some shrooms. I grilled the sausages, and cooked the veggies in a cast-iron skillet.

Too hot to cook, and I'm trying to keep the $$ eater off during the day , so...

Pizza, toppers are Chopped Onion, Sweet Pepper & Jalapeno's , from the Turkish Pizzeria ....

It was hot here, too, but DH agreed to grill dinner outside, so all I had to do was prep. I marinated pork chops in a homemade porchetta seasoning and cut half a red onion, some asparagus and a summer squash from the garden into pieces. While he grilled, I made a sauce - a reduction of balsamic vinegar and honey infused with fresh basil from the garden - to drizzle over everything. Delish.
