Egg whites

Have a recipe that calls for egg yokes only in the batter...what happens to the batter if I leave the egg whites in?????

depends on the recipe. Why would you? One can freeze egg whites for later use.

You can make better flans without the whites but it's optional though. But yeah it tastes better without the whites.

lol i've seen people doing that...they believe that flans tastes better with whites and i just can't argue with them coz that's their personal preference >.<

thanks for all of your replies....i guess i wasn't too specific when i wrote that....it was for a cake batter that you pour over fruit and then bake.....i'm leaving on a trip and wanted to use up the eggs now but didn't realize that you can freeze fresh egg whites...thanks for that tip....can you still use them for meringues if they have a been frozen???
