Fire

Hello grillers,
Ok, so I bought a new Kenmore grill, 4 burners about a month ago.
When I grill burgers,
steak, anything greasy, weather 1 burger or 6, a fire starts every time. I keep the grill clean, drip pan, burner shields etc...
Why does that happen & is there something I can do to stop it from fireing up?
I've been grilling for years & never had this problem.

It's flare up. There is no way to get rid of flare up that I know of.

The only way is constant vigilance moving the meat before the fire is too big.
