My wife and son are in the process of making an apple cake.
The instructions say to flour and sugar the pan before baking.
Ive floured a pan but never sugared one . Should i use a 50 / 50 mix ? or is there a specific ratio or way to do this ? if not we'll just guess.

I've heard of greasing and sugaring instead of greasing and flouring but never flouring and sugaring.
