Does anyone know how to make one of the fabulous fruit freezes that you can find in asian restaurants? They are one of my favorite drinks. I'm partial to a Mango-Kiwi Freeze (YUMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!). Where i live you can order than at two different Vietnamese restaurants. I just went to Chicago and had the same thing in China Town in downtown Chicago. This is what they look like:

The black balls in the bottom of the cup is tapioca that have a gummy bear like texture. I've tried to replicate the freeze, and though i've had some yummy drinks, its nothing close to one the asian freezes. I've searched and search on google and have yet to find a recipe. Here is a menu with the fruit freezes on them:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Spot on, PF. I saw the "bubbles" recently, thinking MPLS, Whole Foods?
