Hello Jinkx...I started to say Hi, but thought Hello would be nicer? Welcome to DC! I'm new here too, but, so far, so good. An overall nice group of foodies.
Many years ago, I had a business trip that took me to our plant in Nebraska. It was a summertime trip and the June Bugs were out in force! Ugh! But I did enjoy meeting co-workers, face to face.
I'll never forget visiting the airport gift shop, killing time for the my next flight. There was a t-shirt there that read, "When I die, I want to go to Lincoln, Nebraska. But not before that!"
Hope that doesn't sound mean!! I just thought the shirt was funny, given all the bugs, such that walking in the evening was no fun.
