How many boxes of brownie mix for a sheet pan?

Can anybody tell me - how many boxes of brownie mix for a sheet pan?

I am looking for answers to both half sheet, full sheet and quarter sheet.


I also have another query - how many brownies in a half sheet pan?

What does it say on the package of brownie mix?

If a pan size is recommended, do the math to find the number of square inches and compare that to the number of square inches in the pans that you listed.

The number of brownies in a half sheet pan is up to the person that cuts them. In my house it would be about four. ?

We like the Duncan Hines 9 by 13 size mix but I guess you are using a different one? Keep in mind that if the batter is spread thinner, it will bake faster. You can use pretty much whatever size pan you want, it will just fit the pan differently.

Brownies are often baked in a 13x9 pan. That happens to be the size of a quarter sheet pan. So there's one of your answers. A half sheet pan would take 2 boxes and a full sheet pan would take 4.

Commercial brownie mixes often suggest different pan sizes. Smaller pans will make thicker brownies while larger pans will make thinner brownies. It's a matter of taste.
