We're trying to think of other things to do with the maple sap we collect in the spring. I'm really challenged figuring out how to use up the amount of syrup we have--I'm subbing it for sugar or honey in everything I can. I have read that you can make beer from maple sap...wondering about wine or other liquors and if anyone has any experience doing so or has tasted maple beer/wine/liquor? If so, what was your opinion of the same?
