I no longer can just cook a burger. I've got to have a Jucy Lucy!!! We had company over and burgers & dogs were on the menu. So why not enlighten our guests with Jucy Lucies and Bacon Wrapped Dogs?!? Had to make a couple of regular burgers as one guy doesn't like cheese :roll: . Everybody else had the cheese stuffed burgers and loved them. The bacon wrapped hot dogs were not as popular as I expected. However, I had three! I should have crisped up the bacon a bit more, but they were still good.
I cooked the burgers on the 22.5 WSM without the water pan at around 350+* and the dogs and veggies on the Weber grill. I would have liked to use just one cooker, but didn't have enough room. I'm thinking I may need to upgrade the grill to the 26.5", but am holding out until they have a performer type model in that size or at least just the table like I have now. I can't see spending the $$$$ for the Ranch.
