Midnight Cake


Here is the whole recipe for a big cake.

3 Cups All Purpose Flour
3 Cups Sugar
1¼ Cup Hershey's Cocoa
1½ tsp Baking Powder
1 T. Baking Soda
1 Cup Canola or Vegetable Oil
3 Slightly Beaten Eggs
1½ Cups Milk
1½ Cups Hot Coffee
1½ tsp. Vanilla


In a large mixing bowl sift together dry ingredients. Then add oil, milk eggs and vanilla. Slowly add hot coffee while mixing. Mixture will appear thin and watery. Grease and flour a 15 X 12 X 2½" baking pan or sheet cake pan about 3" deep. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Actually it really takes a little longer than 25 minutes. Give it either a half hour or 45 minutes.
