hi all. i enjoy cooking a lot (and especially eating!!). i started cooking in grade school when i had to get dinner started for our family until my mom got home from work. i'd make basics like spaghetti, mac & cheese and eventually some veggie and some simple sauces. my interest grew and now i enjoy many methods of cooking: grilling, smoking, air frying, sous vide cooking, sauteing, instant pot cooking and another gadget called an oven! presently i'm trying to learn more about sauces & the mother sauces & variables of those. i havent poked around much here yet but hoping to read some informative conversations & hopefully participate. fun fact: my mother was a really good cook & daughter of a chef on the old orient express! i never met him though because he never came over from hungary.
