Possible Dull Blade on a vita Mix?

Recently making my BBQ sauce for the competition, I notice I had chunks in my sauce after using the Vita Mix for the 4th time.

I really liked the vita mix since it roasted the veggies as it blended the sauce.

Any ideas?

I don't know about a vita mix, but my DH sharpens the blades on our Cuisinart food processors regularly. We use one exclusively to grind veggies for the dogs.

your VM has a 7 year warranty. If the problem persists send it in for fixin'. ( did you use the pounder?)

Contact vita-mix the are great with helping. Never clean the container in the dishwasher,it can damage the plastic container and like with knives the cleric soap can also dull the blades. I have one I got from my mom, she bought it in 1941. STill going strong. I just ordered one of the new ones. Couldn't cook without it.
