Ravioli (or Tortellini) Soup ... Tried & True Favorite

Ravioli (or Tortellini) Soup

3/4 lb. hot or mild sausage, out of casing and crumbled
1 (14-1/2oz) can italian stewed tomatoes
1-3/4 cups water
1 (14oz) can beef broth
1 (9oz) pkg. fresh or frozen cheese ravioli (can use tortellini)
1 can green beans, drained (Itailan is preferred)
1 green onion, sliced (optional)

In a large pot, combine sausage, tomatoes, broth and 1-2/4 cup water.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and add ravioli, green beans and onions (optional). Cook until ravioli are heated through. Sprinkle with grated cheese if desired.
