Slow Cooker Question

I'm just now discovering that very same time suggestion Aunt Bea. I have some tiny garlics in a small roaster. Supposed to be 40 to 50 min but with the toaster oven maximum time at 30 min. was perfect for checking to see how they were doing.
Hard as nails - but the whole place is smelling divine. Hope opening the lid didn't screw it up letting out a lot of steam.
