Snowflake Spritz

1 cup butter -- softened
1 package cream cheese (3-oz.) -- softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg yolk -- unbeaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Cream butter and cream cheese until soft; add sugar gradually, creaming well after each addition. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients; add and blend well. Pack dough into cookie press, using design-forming plate. Press dough out onto cookie sheets (greased). Bake at 350 F. for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are light brown.
Makes 7-1/2 dozen
