Sugarless Fish Sauce/Substituting for Shrimp Paste

Anyone know of a good brand of Thai fish sauce that doesn't contain any form of sugar? (no ingredients ending in -ose)

Also, can pulverized dried shrimp be successfully substituted for shrimp paste in Thai recipes?

As far as the fish sauce I can't help you there. As far as using ground dried shrimp for shrimp paste...I don't think it will work. Shrimp paste is full of so many different ingredients.
