getting ready for a feast with a small group of friends.
first, earlier this week I made a ham stock...then I bought a bushel of shelled butter beans and a bushel of Dixie Lee peas (crowders). Mixed those together and created a fantastic pot likker....this goes over rice.
Also grilled a couple of tri-tips last night...the smaller one I got into
pretty quick...it was a little overdone, but I'm hoping the big piece
is perfect...will re-heat tonight and find out. Grilled shrimp with Rev
Marvins also on the menu, along with corn, fresh tomatoes and more.
