I'd probably go with the chili--the spicier the better.
That sounds as if it could've been downright messy...Well it was going to be taco tuesday, but seeing as how a friend came into the city and laid a dozen farm eggs on me this afternoon
i got my idea from rocklobster's dinner yesterday. I have red beans soaking now. I am having red beans and rice. Maybe salad on the side. Time will tell.

Still fighting the cold and don't feel like eating. Put the leftover pizza in the toaster oven. Have some chili that can be reheated. Not sure which I'll attempt to eat.
Looks good, patty! The salad looks yummy, too!

Went with a shake and bake type recipe. I used some cornmeal with ground chipotle, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper....oops,.milk wash first, then oven for about an hour at 375.....I am thawing out half a chicken. Probably roast it in the oven.

Thanks! I had a bit of luck taking the picture today.
I second that! YUM! I do something similar using Montreal Steak Seasoning.Oh my, that looks delicious.
Do you have to do anything special to make the cornmeal not-too-dry?
Thank you merlot. I feel the same way when I see many others food pics posted here.Yes, everytime I see a msmofet food picture I have a sudden urge to lick the screen.
I should add that I also put in a bit of flour. Maybe about a handful to a cup of cornmeal. I used skim milk and shake it off pretty good, so the coating isn't very heavy. That's it.Oh my, that looks delicious.

Bbq chicken and mac and cheese. I am soooo jealous powerplantop, Kalbi is on my cooking bucket list, but I can't seem to find it carried in the mainstream stores locally, and am afraid to see how much a specialty butcher would charge for the cut. Looks fantastic!
