Leftovers... sometimes I want them the same way and sometimes I want something different. In this case I wanted to change them up a bit. Give them a new look and add to the meal. I also was looking for fairly easy after work. I thought... why not make hash. Its done with corn beef... and roast beef... why not smoked brisket? The wife and I like breakfast for dinner and it doesn't have to be sausage, biscuits, and gravy-- although that will do! So here is my version of Texas Brisket Hash...
Get some leftovers, a few fresh veges, and good spices...
Chop them all up and arrange in a bowl. A little Au jus is a plus too...
Fry an egg and make some corn bread... dinner is served!
A really tasty way to use a little leftover brisket in a new way... pretty easy too.
