Been reading for awhile, but decided to finally post a lil bit...
So as an introduction, here was dinner for the evening (Don't do this everynight, just wanted to make my intro post impressive lol)... Im usually doing graphic design work (web/print/etc), but my heart has really always been with cooking ever since i was about 5 or so. Next summer Im moving to Austin and going to the culinary school down there and making my destiny official i guess, har har. but anyway, on to the food...
So yeah aaaaaanyway, we've got Chicken over Asparagus and Squash with a Rum and Browned Butter Sauce. It's a very light dish with a very aromatic taste with fresh rosemary, thyme, and lemon zest, along with lemon juice of course. For a plating arrangement, I weaved the chicken in and out of itself and placed it on top of a flowered arrangement of the asparagus and yellow squash which mirrored the design on the plate(http://static.flickr.com/47/129134932_27157d71fe.jpg?v=0).
