For us, it was lamb chops. We thawed them and grilled them. Lamb chops with lemon rice pilaf and village salad!

What fell from your freezer, fridge, cabinet or carry-out bag today?

Looks great, Kathleen! I wish I could say that fell from my freezer! :yum:

I finished one of my leftovers, and later I'll start on another one. I might make some side dish, to go with it, but not much cooking today.

No freezer food today, for a change. :ermm:

Had a craving for Alfredo so, made that with fettuccine and asparagus. Toasted ciabatta rolls with parm and olive oil.

I suppose it will be ice cream again for dessert..

A favorite cool weather food is for dinner tonight. NE Clam Chowder and Malt-O Meal muffins. Extra muffin with home made raspberry jam for dessert.

I had a piece of Italian hero left from last night. I added fresh basil leaves.

The annual Cabbage Roll cook...I try and do up a pan at least once a year...fall seems like the natural time to do it..I freeze them in pairs and they last for a few months...Although, two bit the dust a few minutes ago..

I heated up a can of Habitant French Canadian pea soup and made grilled cheese sandwiches. The one for DH had cheddar, sliced onion, and salsa. Mine just had the cheddar and onion. I'm not eating cooked tomato at the moment.

I opened the freezer door and a pork tenderloin didn't actually fall out. Let's say it presented itself and I grabbed it.

A quick black diamond type marinade and onto the grill. I cooked it to medium and we had L/O brown rice pilaf and a veggie. The pork was delicious even though it was dated 10/2019. Gotta love FoodSaver!

I've cooked a two year old pork tenderloin, but I buy them already vacuum packed.

I dragged a package of flounder fillets from the freezer. They might have whimpered as I put them into the fridge to defrost last night. Today I dressed them up pretty with The Spice House's Lake Shore seasoning and broiled them. Sides were pan roasted potatoes and quick cooked asparagus dusted with Parmesan. We had salads, too, but they were gone before I took photos.
