Can cooking oil be reused?

I am thinking of putting chicken wings in hot oil. But the recipe calls for 2 quarts of oil. Can I reuse the oil after I am done?

Absolutely! For things like wings, fried chicken, french fries, onion rings, I cool the oil, strain it and store it for the next time.

If you cook smelly stuff like fish, it may not be a good idea.
