Why would anyone want to escape from this place. They got better fed that we did when I was in the Air Force.

That is very interesting!

I spotted an old Campbell's soup classic, Puree Mongole!

It looks like the soup they didn't eat for dinner they saw again for supper. Reminds me of my house when I was a kid. My Mother used to say "you can eat it now or you can eat it later, but yer gonna eat it"! :ermm::ohmy::LOL:

1 can of split pea soup
1 can cream of tomato soup
2 cans of water or milk or a combination
Season with a good big pinch of curry powder or a shot of sherry

Heat and serve!
 
Wow .. those a quite the meals ! What happened to bread and water?
