Greetings from Seacoast NH!

Glad to have stumbled across the site. You know, I was just saying to myself that I wasn't wasting NEARLY enough time online, so I joined here.
Love cooking, love smoking, and have for years. I finally decided to tackle the things in cooking where I am deficient-baking, dessert, pastry, so I have been in search of info, and I landed here. Looks swell.
I am familiar with vBulletin so I know how to search info vs asking the "dumb" questions.
I am originally from Nashville TN and moved to the Seacoast of New Hampshire 6 years ago (all 18 miles of it!), so my favorite thing to do is prepare down home soul food or some Southern fare for my new crusty Yankee friends and family, in turn I have learned wonderful things here as well. Been great fun (well boiled peanuts went over like a poop on the front porch!). Ok I am going to go look around.

Welcome J. So glad you are going to be with us.
Dessert may be for the sweet tooth, but soup is for the soul.
