Hello Everyone. My name is Feroza Ismail and I am from Durban, South Africa. I am new to this forum and I am loving what I see!
Just a few words to introduce myself. I would classify myself as a busy mom and career woman with 3 teenage boys who are always hungry or peckish. And as such my challenge is to always have something available to satisfy their need or cravings.
I am passionate about cooking and experimenting with new recipes or ‘tweaking a recipe” as you would say. I have an absolute sweet tooth and I love desserts, cakes and biscuits – the really unhealthy type – you know the type with lots of cream and sugar. I know, I know … but these are the really tasty ones, right?
As I have teenagers, I would like to find recipes that are both quick and easy and healthy. Is there anyone out there that can share some ideas for healthier alternatives? Any suggestions that does not use a lot of butter, sugar or cream would be appreciated!
