Thanks for having me. I'm 70, married, retired and raising beef cattle here in East Texas. In another lifetime, I ended up as a single parent with 4 kids to feed and otherwise take care of, so I had to learn at least the basics of cooking.
Looking back, I was pretty bad at it but we didn't starve.
Now, with current wife of 26 years, I still do almost all the kitchen work and am a little better at it nowadays. Looking to learn more and offer my thoughts when I feel prudent to do so.
