i have a giant load of tomatoes in every shade of ripeness between light green to deep red.

i'll most certainly be making sauce to freeze, and i'm going to try making pickled tomatoes. if i have the time, i'm going to try charlie d's recipe for them.

dw said if her cholesterol comes back ok, she wants a big hunk of prime rib, so, hopefully i'll be making a few rib steaks.
 
Pickled tomatoes... interesting. I'll bet a slice of pickled tomato would be great on a burger.

i think my first attempt will be all green, one container of grape sized tomatoes, one of tomatoes that are between golfball and baseball size.
