Beef Short Ribs

In this part of the world a person can sometimes get some good ones from Tom Thumb-Safeway...but it helps to know the right day. Other than that its a wasteland. My oldest boy works for one of them type of wholesale places. I could ask him what to tell your dumbo salesman to snag.

PS..well the male child works in Arkansas and he says Arkies dont know what is beef back ribs so they dont peddle many and the only choice they have comes from IBP.

He says they sell a bunch more short ribs which they get from Omaha Steaks and they currently are running 2.50 per pound.

Here's another secret. The last 2 cases of brisket I bought came from IBP. Now, I Still believe in Nebraska beef, but if Iowa has what I need and it looks good, let's cook! He'll I'd even cook some of that stringy grass-fed Texas beef, in a pinch. Just kiddin bw! I had to... regional pride an all that Yankee stuff.

Whats wrong with the Yankee stuff? There are more Northern's here than you know, all 2 of us.

IBP has good briskets..cant stand Excell.
