Only just tried it
I like the taste, but added more lime juice as it was a bit sweet for me.
It's now in the fridge, to be eaten tonight inside freshly baked bread with boerewors

It's all I can say
Worked out great with the boerewors and would be awesome with a burger or anything like that as well

I made the sumac onions today too. First bite was definitely odd. Maybe they hadn't marinated long enough. A few minutes later they were lovely. I put them on a frikadelle sandwich. It worked really well. Wonderful fusion cuisine. These will be made again.
