Grainy mustard, pickles, swiss cheese, pork loin and ham on a whole wheat roll. Pic of sammies made in different stages.

CI pan and a press to grill the sammies. Don't be an idiot and forget to use a hot pad to grab the press, its very hot and it hurts and I wasn't even drinking. To my credit I only grabbed it once without the hot pad so there is hope for me still.

You must have been reading my mind about having a CS yesterday. I thought about getting one for lunch from a little Cuban store a good ways from my office but worth the drive.

Beautiful. Now I would be forced to Reubenize it. Something about a grilled sandwich which cries out for kraut..lol. Dont guess them Cubans can afford that stuff.
 
Well I had a revelation one time after ordering a Cuban at a high class yup deli. I say..dang..wheres the kraut? lol. Guess it the old Germanic ancestry. Now the little George Foreman type electric flapper griddle gizmos was just made for this kinda bizness. Might save the cookie from getting his had burnt.
 
Anybody knows Reubens cant be beat. Its by far the winning entry in the sandwich world. We done figgered the only reason there aint no kraut in Cuber was because of the economic blockade deal. They had to make do with pickles from Poland sliced lengthwise? I know a stacker when I see one. Not bad on baloney but would be sacrilegious to inflict on some more noble contestant. I dont know anybody who puts pickles on a good burger. I am sure Earnest Hemmingway is spinning his grave.
 
Holy Jumping Perfectly Brown Crust on that sammich Batman!! I've never had one, but I must now!
