Hello Everyone
I'm new to the forum and am kinda done with the whole microwavable burrito/take out diet I've been on recently.
To change things up and save some money I've started using my old crock pot but have run into some snags finding recipes that work for me and really have only found 2 that work. Specifically I'm looking for as little effort and work on my part as possible to get the most complete meal possible.
For example, shredded chicken tacos. The recipe involves placing several breasts in the crock pot, sprinkle on some store bought taco seasoning and finally some store bought salsa, pace is always good. Let it slow cook till the chicken can be shredded then place in store bought taco shells and garnish with store bought shredded lettuce and cheese. The perfect lazy man's shredded chicken tacos. The only dishes to worry about are the forks for shredding and the crock pot itself if using paper plates and prep work is virtually non-existent.
Sadly this and a Kalua pork recipe are all I have found on Google with this little work involved. Everything else involves browning things or mixing different spices or some long list of ingredients that will go bad if I dont make the meal in a week.
So long story short, if anyone has any crock pot recipes that are similarly lazy but turn out great please share. Myself, my stomach and my wallet would appreciate it.
