I decided to go on strike today. There are leftover mac-and-cheese-with-ham, bangers and...well, no mash (we ate up all the potatoes), and a fresh-bought rotisserie chicken that seems to be missing a wing and a drumstick. We'll each rummage as the mood moves us.

Our grandson is visiting this weekend so, chicken parm was on the menu.

We bought fresh potatoes to replace the ones we ate up So dinner was ham and cheesy scalloped potatoes with peas, topped with pickled banana peppers.

So Fish and Chips it was... and very tasty too.

We had a/f Char Siu pork steak with buttered Amish egg noodles and salad.

Ice cream was dessert.

We ordered Indian food: half a tandoori chicken, onion bhajis, lamb samosas, Kashmiri pilaf, roti, and tamarind chutney. We were really craving Indian.
