I bought a Presto hot air popper and love the way it works. I’m a little disappointed that the popped corn (Orville Redenbacher recommended by the manufacturer) doesn’t have that fresh crispness that bag microwave popcorn has. Any suggestions?
I like to make popcorn the old fashioned way - on the stove in some oil, in a regular SS pan. Put in a few kernels and wait for them to pop...pour in the rest, cover and shake until it is done popping. Add butter and salt. Yum.
I first pop the corn and then melt butter in a small pan on the stove, i also use pickling salt.
