Oddest would have to be Cod Tongue. I tried it in New Foundland Canada. I really didn't want to try it, because it just sounded too disgusting, but I did and it was WICKED good. They're deep fried... heck what isn't good deep fried?!?!

Cod.... tasty North Atlantic fish... just their tongues... who knew they had tongues? I didn't. But they sure are tasty when they're breaded and deep fried! YUMMMMMMMMMMMM

Strange things I have eaten? Let's see...
I have had horse meat, snails, animal guts wrapped on a stick and roasted, blood paste, blood sausage, cow stomach stew and lamb brains deep fried.
They were all good apart from the animal guts on a stick! I think that I would try just about anything once. I think the only thing I could not see myself trying would be a cockroach!
