ISO Paula Deen Apple Pie Recipe

This past year Paula Dean had a receipe for a freezer apple pie where you lined a pie pan with saran wrap and put the apples in that and froze it then removed it until ready to make pie at which time you put it in the crust. If any one has that information I would appreciate it.

Wasn't this one of Paula's TIPS - and not really a specific recipe? You could do the same thing with just about any pie filling. I've gone through all 3 of her books and don't find a reference to this as a recipe for apple pie.

I think you are right Michael, I checked her recipes on
the Food Ntwk and the only apple pie recipe was baked
fresh.

You can do it with any pie recipe. My DMIL used to freeze stacks of blackberry pies this way.
