Fried chicken and ice cream. There were some sides....potato wedges, cole slaw....

I started a sous vide of baby back ribs...but that will be tomorrow's dinner! Tonight we are having Scallops with Mushrooms & Leeks over wide pasta. If there's room, there will be ice cream too...good idea, Kathleen!

German bologna with American cheese and brown mustard on a Pepperidge Farm onion roll with chips and a pickle.

A Klondike no sugar added ice cream bar for afters.

DH went to a potluck. I made myself a chicken sandwich with lettuce and mayo on whole grain toast. I also had a couple of pieces of Ryvita with pork roast and mayo.

Too hot to do any long cooking. I had a Taylor ham (pork roll) and cheese on a toasted, buttered English muffin for dinner.

My favorite pork roll isn't Taylor brand. I've worked at places that sell Taylor ham that is actually Trenton brand. It's just custom in New Jersey to call all pork roll Taylor ham.

I had some potato sweet potato onion pepper hash w/ketchup. My appetite is not very good with this heat (90's F). After the bee sting I started taking benadryl to help with the global itching and the site itching and it does. I wonder if it is adding to my not being very hungry. I woke up a couple hours after I went to sleep, very hungry and ate banana chips to fill the void.
