This comes out very cold, and very tasty. It's like a smoothie, but healthier.
Ingredients"
2 cups apple juice
2 cups frozen strawberries
3 bananas
1/2 cup Splenda
2 washed & cored apples
1 cup firm, silken tofu
Throw in all into a blender and blend on high until silky smooth. Add more frozen stawberries if you want. I did. I love strawberries.
My wife likes to add peeled and washed raw carrots to her drink and blend them in
. I prefer to not use the carrots as it creates a grainy texture. I like mine silky smooth.
I think that if you wanted, you could substitute plain yogurt for the tofu. But there isn't really a reason to. You'd just be giving up some of the nutritional value.
