We had lunch at around 3pm, I guess it was linner? BTW autocorrect just tried to change that to lingerie lololol.

Steakhouse chain we visited today (I posted in the lunch thread too). Fantastic fried mushrooms, delicious filet mignon and loaded stuffed baked potato. Hubby said his ribeye was not as tender as he would have liked but the salad and potato were excellent.

It's Soup Season! I started to make chicken and wild rice soup, but I didn't find the usual packets of Carolina long grain and wild rice that I usually use when I shopped Wednesday. I did buy one package of microwave long grain and wild rice at Price Chopper - but just one since it was $2 (as opposed to .89 for the Carolina). I eyeballed regular rice and added my own seasonings. We ended up having chicken and tame rice stoup...it was a bit thick...

I'm making a big pot of chicken soup tomorrow night. Our nephew's wife is pregnant with bad morning sickness and can't keep much down. They're coming over Sunday and I'll send a good amount of it with them.
