august the sixth was a special day for us. my fourth great granddaughter was born. can't spell her name, but they will call her teddy. she was about three weeks early but all is well.

for dinner today, i made a spinach,peas, and red onion salad with hot bacon and vinegar dressing. main course was brie and ricotta with roasted garlic borsetti. i cooked in boiling water, drained and put into skillet with melted butter. stirred them around and add a bit of garlic pwd. and black pepper. i just discovered these things and i am hooked. dessert is thawed mixed berries and softened mascarpone cheese. all was very very good.
