Has anyone tried the Thermomix?

your post is the first I've heard of it. Seriously, I like to cook. I like to use a knife, to kneed dough, to saute etc. I have a kitchen full of great stuff. I don't want a "machine" to program to do it. However, some people will love it.

Thanks just the same, but for that kind of money I'd honestly rather cut my veggies and knead my dough by hand.

i wish i had a friend that had one so i could play with it and see how it works.

i wouldn't really feel like learning whole new ways of making tnt dishes unless it made their preparation unbelievable easier, for that kind of price.

It sounds too good to be true and it takes the fun out of prep and time spent cooking with those you love and/or enjoy cooking with. Neat find though...I hadn't heard of it before!!

I was reading about this at another forum and people who own it seem to love it. Most US users seem to have bought their's in Canada.
