TRUTH !!
Zenith first developed a remote control that was connected by a wire to the
TV in 1950. A wireless version was invented in 1955 by an engineer named
Eugene Polley, working for Zenith.
Other ‘Firsts’ :
The TV dinner was invented by the Swanson Company as you might expect.
Marvin P. Middlemark held several patents for his inventions, one of which was for the rabbit ears antenna, or dipole antennae.
The Scottish engineer John Logie Baird invented color television as far back as 1928.
