Actually, 'appreciate' isn't a good word. What I actually said was "maybe the %@!! rain has finally stopped!" We had three consecutive days of sun and that hasn't happened since September.[/quote
So thats a good day when it doesnt rain there! I've been to Oregon once ( Portland) and it was really nice. That was my first and only time seeing the pacific ocean. I happened to get to Washington by error too lol, I didnt know about the bridge and one ways

My life has been a mess over the last 5 years, but you know, I am alive, I am healthy, and I have this day to turn it all around and I pray that I have the next day to do the same. God Bless every one here and I hope that you appreciate what life has given you, some things are harder to appreciate than others, but it all has a purpose!

It could be something as simple as having a purring kitty sitting on your lap comforting you, or the sun shining brightly in the sky. Maybe it's catching a warm breeze while sitting on your deck outside or hearing the birds first thing in the morning. I know this all probably sounds corny, but if you try to find a little bit of happiness and goodness in every day (even on the days that are REALLY difficult for whatever reason) it makes a huge difference in how you can handle the hard times.
