I can't remember the last Chef's name but that guy made an awesome replica of the White House! I think the theme was First Pets! After that was a American Story Books.

I clicked on the link, and the website wanted me to log in. Oh well.

Back in '97, when I started college, one of my instructor's best friends was the pastry chef at the White House. I remember seeing a magazine article with a picture of that chef, and a chocolate sculpture he had made of an American Bald Eagle using dark chocolate for the body, and white chocolate for the head and tail. It was great. I don't know if that same chef is in that position nowadays or not.

The pastry chef that just left is named Roland Mesnier--is that who you're thinking of? If I recall, he'd been there for 3-4 presidents.
