When I came into the kitchen, the little girls were both sitting expectantly in front of the pantry and refused to move. I know what that means. They want tuna. I'm easy to please. They each had spoons of tuna with their kibbles and I had a tuna sandwich with thin sliced cukes and tomato slices on oatmeal bread toast. They didn't want any cantaloupe.
 
I made low-country boil for the teachers last night. Red potatoes, red onions, corn, spicy pork sausage, shrimp and mussels boiled in a broth seasoned with Zatarain's seafood boil, lemons and garlic. Strawberries macerated in sugar and dark chocolate balsamic vinegar over grilled pound cake for dessert.
