I am simmering a beef stew to be served with cornbread from the freezer.

What are you fixing?

Pan roasted chicken thighs, pilaf and peas.

SO has food hangups. Rice must have peas to mix in, any pork dish must be accompanied by applesauce . . .

We ordered burgers. They were really good. We also tried out an appetizer called Devils on horseback. It was bacon wrapped dates, with goat cheese and served with a side of hot sauce. The dates were too sweet and there wasn't enough goat cheese to counter the sweetness. it was interesting, but we won't bother another time.
