We had BBQ sauced boneless country style ribs with corn, broccoli, twice-baked potato, and corn muffins.

I used up a lot of that excess Boston lettuce that I had. Thanks to a suggestion by Aunt Bea, I made a creamy lettuce soup. It was pretty good. I probably won't go out of my way to make it, but if I have a bunch of lettuce that might go off, I will try to remember to make this again.



Then, we had and white wine shallot sausage and Italian sausage. There was a side dish of some vegis and cooked rice, fried up with some Madras curry paste.

We have both been feeling under the weather today so we had wonton soup and toast. My soup had veggie wontons in veggie broth. TB had chicken and cilantro in chicken broth.

I cook, portion and vac freeze taco meat.

Thawed and heated a portion, chopped up onions, tomatoes, avocado and shredded some cheese and lettuce and it became Taco Thursday.

Ice cream bars for dessert.
